It began many years ago, just shortly after the great ice age. ( From humble beginnings, drawing on walls in Jamaica, to a 3 decade career in visual arts)A young Richerd Reynolds began his journey down the path of visual artistry. Crayon in hand, I crafted great works of artistic talent on every surface I could find of my parent’s home in Jamaica, much to their chagrin. Walls, tables, floors, furniture, nothing was safe from my creativity. In time, I discovered paper, pencils, paint, brushes, canvas, pens and markers, finally, years after finding my permanent home in Canada, the digital creative word of computers. My creative hunger feasted on the many tools of the digital world. Adobe photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and many more. All worked together to help bring my visions to fruition. Together with an education earned at Sheridan College I struck out as a professional graphic artist, a visual communicator. Over the course of the next 20 plus years, I have bent my creative skills to many satisfied clients both while in an agency as a senior graphic designer and art director, and a successful freelance career. Clients such as Revlon Professional, Avaya, DeMuth Steel, the Region of Waterloo, Richmond Hill, Groupe Schneider and Kitchener/Grand River Transit.
